1.6 + 3.03=help!!!

I Just bought an 1.6 Xbox yesterday. I have an X3 but not a CE edition.
Right now it has 3.03 flashbios on it and am wondering is there a may to make it work. I have searched and resurched the forms. Is there a way to reflash it. I thougnt it worked with 1.6.

Well gess what? It won't boot on my 1.6.


I'm a noob on 1.6's otherwise somewhat noligable.

Most of X3, if bought brand new, usually have cromwell 3.0.0 or 3.0.1 flashed on but I guess you got a used one? and someone had already flashed it to 3.0.3? I would imagine you have already tried the back up bios? If you have, I can only think of couple of options. 1) send it to a retailer to have them flashed to 3.0.1 for a minimal fee 2) if you have another xbox or know someone who has modded xbox (hopefully with an X2.6 or X3 chip), then you can hotswap it.

But yes, xbox versions 1.6 has issues with 3.0.3 and won't work it it (usually)
