Alright...I was installing an x3 in this 1.6...and well I put the pinheader in backwards...got the desoldering braid out, and attempted to desolder...well the pinheader came off really easy...problem is so did a few traces around the LPC that go to a few of the pins. The good news was the everything lifted cleanly...and only two of them came up...still dunno what happened. Anyways, I followed one of the back and found a via to solder to so I just soldered a wire from the point on the LPC back to the via...for the other one...there were no alternate points so I got some rubbing alcohol and cleaned up the trace since it was just hanging out of the board, then I soldered a wire directly to the exposed trace (I know it's crazy) and went back to the point it used to connect to on the LPC and soldered it there too. Well...that is how I fixed this...then I was like well I guess I am just going to do a wire install because I didnt want to have to pull another pinheader out if something went wrong. I followed the tuts for wire installs and soldered everything except the red wire, I also hooked up the alternate 5v for the 1.6. I had a rebuild board so I soldered that guy on the back and soldered d0, lan, and hdd. Then I hooked up the switches and reset/eject board. When I try boot the chip the switch panel does not light up...I have one blue led on the chip lighting up and tapping, holding, eject, no matter what it just boots to m$ bios. I assume something is wrong with my rebuild on the backside of the board...just wanted to get some opinions before I start messing with it again I am getting burnt out on it after everything going wrong.

Figure out which LED is out. If the 3.3V one is out, that could narrow the problem down to 2 pins. If so, look at the diagram of the pinheader holes and check the 2 3.3V pins and the surrounding area. Either they aren't making contact or something is bridging them to something that they shouldn't be touching.

I don't know where to find what led is for what and what pins do what...I am going to search but if you could just point me in the right direction that would be cool
