Question regarding backup burning

Hey guys,

So I've flashed my xbox, and everything seems to have gone alright.

I don't have the drive needed to rip legit game copies, but one of my friends does, and I used his to rip a couple of games.

Like the retard I can tend to be, I only copied the ISO's to my external HDD, and forgot the .dvd file.

Is it possible to get a new .dvd file using the ISO? If so, I'd imagine that I can burn it using my own drive?

I know you need a specific drive for ripping, but from what I understand, you don't use the same one to burn the disk, right?

Thanks.

Re: Question regarding backup burning

Alright, did that and I have a .dvd file now :D

So I just load the .dvd with imgburn, add the break number, and burn at 2.4?

I made a couple of coasters last night, so I'm wondering if maybe I screwed up my drive flash. What happens when you try to use the burned CD if you burn the game correctly, but the flash failed?

Re: Question regarding backup burning

right click the .dvd file and "burn with imgburn" the .dvd file IS settting the layerbreak!
