1.6 or 1.6b How do I tell?

I've looked all over and want to find out what version I have. Is there a easy way I can tell. I have the Xbox open but don't know what I'm looking for. Any help would be appreciated.

I believe 1.6 memory is made by Samsung and 1.6b by Hynix. I believe also that any xbox manufactured after 9/17/04 or around that date is 1.6b.

Just look at your RAM chip and see wether or not it's Hynix or Samsung.
