1.6 or 1.6B ???

Hi all,

have three boxes. After consulting the guide on xbox-scene "which version" I figured they were 1.6.

However everytime I flashed the X3 with 1959 it would frag. So after a few hours I decided to try the 1959_v16plus and whola it seems to work.

Am I just mental, is the "version finder" wrong, or is my 1959 corrupted ???

You figured out they were v1.6 from the version finder.....and v1.6 bios works on you xbox......so you seem to definetly have a v1.6, what's the issue?

If you decided that you had a V1.6 Xbox why would you try to load the 1959 bios for a V1.5 or before? :?

backing up my 360 games

Hey guys im new so go easy on me.

After recently having to replace the drive in my 360 I was faced with the decision to hack the new drive to play backups.

So now my 360 is back online and working, I now would like to invest some time into figuring out how to backup my discs.

Seems im stumped at the first hurdle, I own a LG GSA H30L dual layer dvd writer but i have no idea what i need to do to get it to read my 360 discs. Im assuming that I would need to hack this drive with a firmware of some sort but have had no joy with google.

Please Help......................

Theres a few ways to do it its a matter of preference!

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but your LG GSA H30L won't read a 360 game disc! you need a 360 drive flashed with the 0800 firmware to read the disc....the LG Burner will burn the discs with Img Burn program.
