1.6 - Powers up when i connect the power wire!!!

When i plug the power cord, the xbox tries to boot up 3X with the eject light flashing yellow. After the 3rd try it shuts off and nothing works. The power and the eject buttons don't work either. Can smeone help??

Disconnect your X3 from the eject/power adapter. You can remove that adapter altogether it won't matter. It should then boot your X3. You will still have the problem of the xbox powering up as soon as you plug it in, but if you can live with that your o.k.

I've never run across this problem, but as I learned early in electronics, look at what YOU have done.

IF a device gets worked on, and you find AFTER you finish that there is something new wrong, go in, double-check what you've done step by step and there's no way you won't find it.
(This of course is IF after you disconnect the power/eject adapter and it still auto-starts.)
