1.6 X3 flashed still no blue logo

I installed an X3 in a 1.6 it booted up with eject and power and turned blue. Got to flash screen and flashed it with 1959 over http.

I rebooted and x3 logo is red. I have reinstalled it a couple times now and it stays red. I cant figure this out. I read twisted_187 and bjornarhuse posts. I am not sure if my problem is the same because I was able to flash my chip.

I just tried bypassing my grey d0 wire and that didnt help either. I think im missing something really easy.

Any suggestions?

pressing the power button very quicky will boot the mod chip(blue light) holding power button longer will boot red mod disabled, pressing both at same time will boot back-up bio's.

Refurbished Xbox 360?

Well I went off to Gamestop today and bought a refurbished 360 and they said I can return the xbox, so long as I never open it. I'm hoping to mod the hell out of it, but because it is refurbished by gamestop and not by microsoft, will that make any difference? Should I run into any problems? Thank you in advance. PS. it was manufactured in 2007.
