1.6 X3 Will not disable without eject button

When I press and hold long to disable the mod, the system boots up in normal (modded) mode. BUT when I press eject to start it, the system boots up in disabled mode. This is ok, because it works, but its not right! What did I do wrong? I have checked all solders 1,000,000 times. And I have been using a HUGE magnification glass to check it all.

check the plugs on the power board you should have installed with the x3.

Everything looks tight on the powerboard...

Only thing I wonder about is, if i plug the red cable from the chip to the powerboard, what would happen if i plugged it into the other socket on the powerboard? It looks like it would fit, but the instructions showed it in the top slot.
