ok i got my chip working and read mostly every tutorial out there. just wanna make sure i do this right. i have my banks switched to on on off off off. when i downloaded mirc and tried connecting to the server i cant connect to any. im tryn to get to xbins and download a bios. now with the system and mods that i got im tryn to figure out wich bios is best for my chip and should i get more than one. i also bought a 300g hdd for my system, any advice will be much appreciated. also after flashing what other programs should i download as far as dvd2xbox ect.....? tahnx in advance NOOB1

Since you have a X3ce on a 1.6 box, your bios should be X3_3294v16plus which is the latest. Aside from bios you will be needing a Dashboard (ie: Unleashx, Avalaunch, evox 3935), Apps (XBMC, Emulators, etc...)

As for your 300g HDD, X3 bios has a X3 Config Live which has a Disk utility you can use to format your new HDD. You'll see this once you flash X3_3294v16plus.

ok i have all downloaded. now my problem is connecting my xbox to my pc. im trying to hook it up to my laptop. now ive read afew tuts. and many say i need a network card. my home is setup like this/ cable modem/pc/wireless rouer/my laptop with built in wireless. i went into my internet connectionts in my laptop and click on the connection wich i use, i then went to the properties and tried changing the ip add.(originally it was set to automatically obtain ip) but i changed that. whan i did nothing happened. i turned my xbox on and it didnt recongnize anything. i opened flashfxp and it didnt see my xbox. should i just quit and try to flash my chip with a dvd? please help!!!!!!!!!!!!
