1.6 Xbox Flash Successful? --> Black Screen

I have modded MANY xboxes successfully just to preface this. I have a 1.6 Xbox (manufacturered in January 2005 but the memory is Samung (so I'm guessing still a 1.6 and not 1.6b)). Anyways, I have the X3CE chip (got it in the other day) and I did the pin header install as well as the LPC rebuild. I did drip some solder on the board but I got all of it up (I really did). Booted the xbox up with mod on and BIOS bank set to ON ON OFF OFF OFF. Cromwell 3.0.1 comes up and we flash with the latest "X3 3294 v16plus.bin" BIOS. It goes through the two status bars successfully and the xbox shuts off.

We turned the xbox back on and I notice that the one "INPUT" indicator on the TV screen (labled Front for our front TV input) goes off and "Stereo" comes on and the screen goes from DEAD black to a lighter black (like something is trying to happen but no video). Nothing ever comes up. I try a couple of more times and sometimes the modchip enables, sometimes it doesn't. The modchip ALWAYS disables when you press and hold but the REGULAR M$ dashboard has NEVER come up. It too has a black screen. When I unplug the modchip completely, the screen is STILL black. The eject light has NEVER FRAGED (flashing red and green) at any of these points.

I have tried different banks. Do I need Cromwell 3.0.3? How do you flash that? Through HTTP? I tried flashing the chip in a working 1.4 xbox, flash was successfull (both bars completed, xbox turned off) but when I transferred it back it had the same black screen.
I have checked solder connections correctly. Is there something wrong with the M$ bios now? Where do I go from here?

I have a 1.6 Xbox with an executer 3 chip installed. The installed has been check several times. It contains the lpc rebuild. I was able to get to the flash screen and performed the correct bios flash. When the bios flash was successful the box shut off like it was supposed to. When booting up with the chip on the screen flickers but stays blank. Booting with the chip off the screen flickers but stays blank. It will not boot to Microsoft Xbox dashboard or to the x3 live config screen. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

gi2ashoppa - In answer to your question, for you to get 3.0.3 on yoru screen you need to set the bank switch to off on off off off

But you should also still be able to boot up to your backup bank? does that work alright? If nothing at all works it could be the MMBT3906 Transistor<-----That's a link

Ok, this is really weird, and maybe not related. I noticed that there are two (maybe more, but this is all i noticed) resistors/transistors? missing from my 1.6 (not 1.6b, Samsung memory bank) motherboard. Notice the two red arrows in this picture below. The one is blue and the other (hidden by the green D0 line) is black. They are missing! My board just shows two end points (not connected by anything). The xbox currently acts REALLY weird. When you do bring up the flash screen and supposedly flash correctly (two status bars and xbox shuts off) the xbox modchip doesn't even seem to be flashing because you can go back in and try and do it again! The power switch is very sensitive (an extremely short tap is required for enabling the mod). And, as always in this installation, even with the mod disconnected, the original Xbox dash does not come up--blank screen. I touched up pins 13 and 14. I've done like 25 xboxes (4 of them being 1.6) and I've never had this problem. Bad modchip? Something on the board? If you have another 1.6 board that has not been on xbox live you wanna sell, let me know. Thanks for the help guys!

Hey could someone just let me know if those above resistors/transistors need to be on ALL the 1.6 boards? If I know there is something missing from the board I won't try and fix the solder job. If you know where I can find a circuit diagram of the 1.6 board or something someone made, please let me know. Its just two things I noticed that are missing from my 1.6 (not 1.6b) board.
