1.6 xbox, X3 and flashBIOS 3.01...Freezes when flashing

Hi....I have a problem.....
I modded my friends xbox (v1.6) with a x3 chip 3 days ago....It worked and we flashed it with 3108 v16plus bios....Today it doesnt work....But it worked yesterday...When I try to boot it the chip enables (blue x3 logo) but the xbox turns off after one second....Notice, i press the power button ONCE...One second later it turns on again, but turns off a second later, then it turns on again and frags...?
Anyone know how to solve it? It cant be a bad solder point cause i can boot the Backup rom, and when i try to flash it, everything looks good till it freezes . Just before its finished...The green bar has flashed 3 quarter approx... It cant be the chip either because i put it in my xbox and try to flash( I have a x3 chip too)...Everything runs nicely and i can flash it with the 3108 bios and so on...
I think it is the xbox 1.6...Anybody know what to do?

if it works on your xbox then it's not the chip. I suspect soldering problem even though you don't think it is. Best to use a multimeter and test all the pin heads.

I have a version 1.2 xbox and I used an xapter to attach it. I'm goin through the same exact problems as you, what llama.com refers to as christmas lights, so I don't think it's your soldering or xbox version but I'm also a noob so what do I know

All I know is that you should bootup from your backup bios by pressing your power and eject buttons at the same time but I don't know where to go from there
