any combination of power/eject pressing yields the same result: on, off, on, off, on and fragging.

seems that quite a bit of 1.6 boxes are having this prob....i saw more than a few mentions of the double reboot and frag, and many people have suggested the D0?

i used the pcb rebuild board...so would i remove the d0 wire and remove the solder and start the connection over, or just "touch up" by re-melting it? or do i only have to touch up the exact d0 point on the m

also, since i like to know details....... the way the d0 on the PCB works is it just moves the teensy-ass d0 point to the right a bit, for space's sake?

ugh...one more try. do you guys think it's the d0? i'm going to try that right now.

on, off, on, off, on>FRAG w/ red x. switches do nothing but piss me off for being so tiny.

WHEEE! i'm being patient. but i AM gettiong annoyed with all this plugging and unplugging of the soldering iron.

i feel like a 1337 hax0r fo sho.

I have mine on "on on/off off off" Never tried with your bank? Do this: unplug the modchip and try to boot up. Does it boot up? if it still frags... you either broke a trace, Or got some solder splash somewhere on the motherboard. If it doesnt...

Do TWO LEDS on the modchip light up? IE: the modchip itself... left side + right side, should both have LEDs. you can easily tell when 2 is on... so if you are trying to decide if two are on... then only 1 is :)

If only 1 is on... one of your power points isnt done. Add a little more solder to each point... re-touch them up, and then try.

you misunderstood me ikarasu..the xbox it self POWERED ON, TURNED OFF, POWERED ON, TURNED OFF, POWERED ON, FRAGGED.

i realize how confusing that is seeing that there are five switches on the external switch ;P sorry.

anyway....if there are dull gray solder points do i need to remove them and get them on the first try? this could be my prob. at least i feel confident soldering now....now all i need is a desoldering braid.

ah... ok... Still, are both LEDS on? does it frag with the executer out?
