1.6b and large hard drives

can the M8plus_16 support large hard drive cause I can't get it to pick up anything over 120 gig....

You have to modify it using EVTool to add LBA48 support

i have evtool and xbtool and it will still not let me add it though i have done it before but i can't do it know for some reason

Toshiba Samsung sometimes works

I just got another xbox 360 with a stock unmodified toshiba samsung drive in it, it will only play 2 of my 360 games and has trouble reading the rest of my games and also it shows up with that screen that says "please put this cd in an xbox 360 console"
Is this drive old and worn out? how can i go about replacing it with a new drive?

DVD Laser is probaby shot

You can purchase a new drive and spoof it so the xbox reads it as the original drive
