1.6B Install Problems

I just finished installing the X3 on a 1.6B. The blue lights on the chip are on when I boot and the HD & LAN Led work to. The only problem is that I can only make it boot with the RED Logo. I can't seem the get the blue & or the White (256k). If I press the power quick I get red. If I hold I get red. If I press both the Power + Eject I get nothing..... won't boot.

What could it be?

yes you can jtag banned console aslong as it has the correct kernal

If you don't know what kernel is ok or not, you shouldn't be doing a jtag.

That dash version is ok but you will have to dump the nand to check if the cb version is exploitable

That kernel is fine. Also, I'm positive that your CB version is exploitable but it doesnt hurt to check.

Just make sure that you dont have a Zephyr motherboard cause they are pretty spastic with XBR.

Yeah you should be good with a falcon. Just make sure you know how to solder correctly.
