i modded a 1.6b with an x3 chip. of course, i got the blank screen when i tried to flash it (flashbios 3.00). i put the chip in my 1.4 box, flashed it with the 1959 1.6 bios, and not when i try to power up the chip, the external led turns red and i get an error 07 (i dont have an hdd or dvd drive plugged in, if this is the problem).

Intel G33 Express Chip set... Sata Compatible?

Super beginner here...
JUst doing the basics research before I tear anything apart.
I have a Intel G33 Express Chip set on my desktop PC.
Does this have SATA ports? and if not, am I S.O.L. in regards to flashing my 360?
Any help would be much appreciated!

You can always buy a PCI SATA adapter for cheap I think VIA 6421 is the chip set you want.
If you cannot install a PCI card then I recommend you get someone else to flash your xbox.

Stupid question I'm sure... but is VIA 6421 just a type of adapter? or is that the specific name of one that will work?
For example... does everyone and their mother make a VIA 6421 like dynex or nvidea?
