1.6b? trouble [NL]

5. Xecuter 2.6 lite
6. FlashBIOS video on screen YES/NEO ?
Mostly black screen on boot, sometimes after 10-20 seconds cromwell, but sometimes crappy.
7. Flashed it with Evox m8 but then it reboots 3 times, then off.

do you have a programmer ?

if yes program with 1mb evox m8 16 bios

No they are ordered but not received yet

The wires of eject are yellow too, so not certain if its 1.6b

I flashed the x2.6 lite on another 1.4 xbox and it booted fine, then I fitted it in the 1.6 and it gave me 3 reboots.

this doesn't sound like a version problem.... the v1.6b issues so far are along the lines of locking up and such, the fragging you're getting might have to do with solder issues, maybe even the bios. check your install and revert to a fresh bios and try again. I would tend to think you just have a 1.6, not b

I tend to think the same, but the kernel and dashboard numbers match.
Also I have checked my install several times and looks good. I didn't resolder pin header yet, but a pin header that isn't soldered good will be a first for me.

doesnt matter - there have been xbox's manufactured in august with same kernel / dash and work perfectly fine

yours is a soldering issue.

lite-on inquiry.bin missing - NAND dump present

Hello,

I was able to extract the DVD key from the NAND, but it came out to be a lite-on drive... and I do not have that drive unfortunately... is there a way of getting the inquiry.bin info from the NAND dump? thanks a lot!

it will work without it so don't worry! which method did u use to get the key? do u no where a tut is? bcoz i got a falcon mobo which needs key extracting

i have revA xenon, requires liteon key incl. inquiry.... I can play dvd's only without the inquiry...

If you have they key I think you can just put it into the ixtreme for lite on and it will work, you will be banned at some point I think.

i spoofed liteon and on a sammy, correct key... open tray.. or play dvd.

To play games all u need is the key, not the inquiry or thingys like tht

Well, spoof looks good, but sammy does not read any dual layer ( originals or copies ) - tweaking pot did not do anything good - will try with a different dvd rom - thanks a lot and Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!

How i know about this this game. but i don't know how to play it? Any instructions in this aspect?
