ok thanks to a post by sinvel, if ypu are getting the blank screen on boot, switch to off on on off and it will boot to flash bios 3.03

jtag falcon e79 randomness
very strange sometimes xbr boots but when i power down and then power on i get e79. then when i un plug power for a bit then power back on it boots up any ideas.

e79 almost always means a problem with your solder connections
I would redo all your connections AND reflash the NAND
a little connection makes a big different

I fixed this with the alternate voltage conversion wire up method boots up fine everytime. Just google new Jtag wiring with proper voltage conversion and the page should pop right up. Your going to need two npn transistors and wire to different locations such as the cable that goes to the RF board now goes to aud_clamp and the other you can wire it to the DVD_Tray_open signal under the dvd header. Good Luck!!
