LITEON DG-16D4S - SLIM 1071 liteon TX replacement pcb not reading discs

hi i bought a replacement pcb for a slim 1071 drive but after install its not reading any discs..

i even replaced the laser & ribbon and still not working...

could it be the pcb i bought, because i bought it from ebay, packaging was open.. but there looked like nothing was wrong with it?

or is there anything else i can try? i have tried reflashing & doesn't fix anything... i have flashed other consoles recently & they all work fine.

its a few months old, discs were reading fine never been opened old pcb used to work... have not soldered it back since removal

could it be the worm motor? the laser still moves & the red light on laser is working tho

i did have a a phat xbox 360 which i flashed around the same time as this slim, with the same problem but replacing the laser & ribbon solved it... i must have burned both out by flashing with laser ribbon still plugged in.

is it possible that worm motor can also be effected if you flash with laser ribbon connected?
