GENERAL 1175 Question.

Soon I'll be upgrading my old phat xbox to a new Halo 4 Xbox.

I know that 1175 FW isn't yet released.

But say it was, what would be the process to flashing a 1175 drive?

I understand that to extract the key I'd need a DGX.

What's needed?

Say I bought:

The slim
DGX
and Had LTU

is that all I would need to Flash LTU?

Thanks for the reply first of all.

And I'm not sure what the Halo 4 Mobo is, It's most likely Trinity. I only really want to flash it (once LTU is out) So I can retire my old flashed console.

I have a USB Pro and a J-runner programmer.

Edit: it's not Trinity it's Corona.

you dont need the dgx to extract the dvd key. that is for the cpu key you need the dgx

DVD Key retrieval from Lite-On 1175/1532 DG-16D5S on kernel 2.0.15XXX.0/2.0.16XXX.0 and higher, requires CR3 Pro (Slim version) + CR3-DGX.

Does that mean I'd also need a Coolrunner? Just for extracting the key?

No

DGX to get CPU key then you get your DVD Key from CPU key.

Glitch
Scan IP or use USB Comm Cable
Get CPU Key
Paste CPU key in J Runner to get DVD key
Remove DGX
Write Stock Nand Back

Would I need QSBs then? What other ways is there to extract NAND?

How else do you expect to get the drive key?

It was mentioned a few weeks ago that RGH (or the DGX if your console is running dashboard version 15572 or above) would be required to obtain the drive key.

If you find a way to get the correct drive key from the drive, please let us know .
