i have just started a project which is going to be a massive overkill - rehousing a new xbox 360 slim into a mini pc case which will power cpu watercooled and 3 12v fans and handfull of led strips.
i am going to power all of this using the 12v/5v (for the led's) source and ground points on the underside of the power plug on the mobo.
My question is, how much strain can I put on this power source, I know it is supposedly quite stable. I know there are four 12v sources around there, should I use a source per fan/cpu LC?
