I have a demon with the stock NAND on 13599 and want to update. I wanted to know if the best way would be to run the system update via USB or should I build a retail image in Jrunner and flash it to the mobo.

updating it via USB would change the LDV correct? Demon side is on 13537 btw.

Update the stock NAND using XBL and then update the DemoN's glitch image to 16547.

XeBuild's Update Mode should update the DemoN's NAND without any trouble at all (make sure UPDSERV is running on the console first).

Read page 22 of the J-Runner PDF for more details.

thanks guys, yea the LDV wouldn't match if I built it in Jrunner because the efuses wouldn't have been burnt correct?

It was the problem with 15574 dash and rgh that concerned me. I remember that update was killing RGH's but that's not a concern with a demon chip I guess only regular rgh.

Correct - fuseset02 wouldn't match your new CB.

Not at all - you have your CPU key so the whole thing with the keystream change at 15572 is moot. Not to mention that new ECC images for the RGH2 exploit mean it's irrelevant.

If you have a phat xbox and use RGH1, then update your retail nand pass 14717 would kill RGH1, and you have to use either RGH2 or R-jtag for Demon Nand.
