To start off i get this problem on my live 360 and my rgh 360. First i buy a game from xbl market place, lets say x-men a game that is small, then i put it on a usb from the ms dash and transfer it to my rgh 360 from the nex dash and it shows up just fine. But if i buy a game that is big lest say From Dust, when i put it on the usb it gets stuck there. It will not move back to the hdd from the usb to my retail 360 or my rgh 360. Iam using a 4 gig SanDisk cruzer, would this be a problem with bigger xbl games and dash or is the SanDisk a pos?
yes the game will boot from the usb stick but i have not tried playing it for more than 20 min to see if it crashes. it just won't transfer off usb once its on there, it says there was a problem preforming that action. (again only for xbl arcade games that are at least 1 gig)
no not yet was just about to try that but kind of new to jtag/rgh. i have freestyle dash and freeboot 14699 installed. So should i do this by formatting the usb to fat32 and placing the folder on root of usb then use FSD to move it to the hdd?
You should be able to copy the game from your live xbox to the usb drive normally.
Then in fsd goto file manager. On the left side go to USBMU(0/1 depending on the port).
On the right side go to Hdd1.
If that game is the only thing on the usb drive, you can just copy the Content folder from the usb to the hdd (Hold Right Shift and hit A).
If there's more than one thing on the usb drive(and you don't want to copy it all) you can go into Content\0000000000000000\.
In that folder is game ids once you find the right one you can copy that to 0000000000000000 folder on the hdd
