hi,

i had 100% stable situation with 13604, not from the beginning, boot times was damn fast almost 99% with first glitch, but unfortunately console had random freezes and i had to resolder and re-place wires as far as i could from coils. it helped pretty much no more freezes with 13604, boot times a little worse, let's say 80% with first glitch, rest 20% with second.... anyway that was good for me and even didn't want to replace my 100nF capacitor (couldn't get 68nF when coolrunner arrived).

everything changed with new 14699, console started to powering off randomly :eek2: and two times freezed, all that for about 2 days testing, it's not related with anything that's running, it happen at dash, at any game, at xexmenu etc... i did image again with xebuild manually, with multibuilder 0.6 before and nothing still same..

i had to revert to 13604 and again everything back to normal, i just played more than 7 hours without any issue...

please tell me what could it be, i waited to see if anybody has same issue (thought maybe patches are not 100% perfect/tested with 14699) but nothing, didn't find single post with such thing, is it only me?

i have Jasper512
(with 13604 + gg033 patches + DashLaunch 2.27 patches - works 100% perfect)

any ideas?

I had similar issue on a slim, but was fixed just by making sure that the Patch SMC option in the ini file was changed from False to True as its only required for RGH images. Now working flawlesly!

hmm, strange, without patch it would not boot when first glitch didn't successful..

anyway,.. i'm starting to think that it could be related with badblocks remapping and rawflash... i'll try to flash it with nandx tonight with erasing first

i have block 88 (BigBlock numbering) bad and suspecting that rawflash could do a bad job with that i have to verify that, it's the only thought that comes to my mind when no one have similliar issues...

thanx

the same thing here.

i updated to 14699 with latest fsd and dashlaunch.
my xbox crashes randomly.

i sorted everthing out.
usb hdd, nands, bad flashes, wires.

everthing is in good condition.

as [blt] says. i will downgrade to 13604 as its more stable.

thanx god i'm not alone

there's no better place to track the wires via lol ;-)

waiting for fix then

thank you all

funny how satellite technic got a place at consoles ;-)

edit:
one more thing, there is another kind of failures at 14699 dash: achievment style message: "fatal crash" and back to dashboard..

My Jasper 256MB (on 14699 CB 6750, image created with Multibuilder 7) was freezing, but it was an FSD problem. Whenever I launched a homebrew program that did not have an icon picture my system would freeze a few seconds after. Even after restating if i did not go to the FSD settings menu right away my console woudl freeze as soon as it was done scanning my system and external hdd.

Sorted the problem by clearing my system data in the FSD settings and not re-launching any homebrew programs (or games) without an icon image.

0.5 is giving more issues the console freezes I was opinion that 0.7 would fix the issue but after reading the above post seems like even 0.7 is having issues awaiting rogero to reply

I also have a bb 256mb jasper and do not seem to have any issues. Well my 11yr old has not complained yet anyhow. As a troubleshooting test why not just try freeboot instead of installing freestyledash. It may help to determine where the issue is.

Same problem here.

Got a Trinity RGH, used multi builder 0.7 with default dashlaunch ini.

Seems to work without dashlaunch, but as soon as i installed dash launch 2.27 and have it set too boot directly too FD 2.2 it freezes at xbox 360 logo, or as soon as i try too sign in with my profile in NXE.

ive tried the patchsmc workaround but it still hangs and freezes.

slowly im thinking its a bad flash on my tx coolrunner.
i also own a dual nand setup. just a notice. maybe it depends on that fact.

i will reflash my coolrunner tonight because i dont have the time yet.
why im thinking its the coolrunner ? because it tries to glitch several times a second. thats not normal.
another theory is, that wiring ground to the switch isnt a good way. ill change that too tonight.

i hope to fix this till weekend.
