RGH 14699 update f*** up

to keep it short i updated to 14699 and built an image with xebuild with my nand dump from 13604, flashed it over, and now its obviously not booting, all this because i was in a rush. i don't know what else to do, tried everything i could, and already spent most of the day trying to figure it out. can anyone help me out here? thanks in advance

Martin knows better than me but my ldv chqnged when I updated my dash on a slim today. Showed the same symptoms as you describe until I patched the LDV on my image.

Could it be that? (@martin as well)

did your ldv go up by one digit? 13599 > 13604 on both my jasper and falcon nand went up by one digit, 10 > 11 so would that mean my 14699 ldv is 12?

boot to Xell

count the FFF's in lines 7 and 8.

That's your LDV level.

make sure that's the level in your built NAND.

If not, edit options.ini and set it to match in there.

Boot to xell using eject switch. Count the number of f's in lines 7 and 8 of your fusesets and that is your LDV. Mine went up from 3 to 4 on a slim.

Note to anyone reading this: Your LDV will INCREASE every time you take an official update. You MUST be aware of this and your built RGH image will need to reflect the new LDV value.

yeah my ldv has gone up to 12. so il use my 13604 dump to build my 14699 image and just change the ldv? and that should work?

Just dump the new image and use that (as the LDV will be right), or edit options.ini with the number.

If you choose #2, remember to remove this number afterwards.
