14719/7: Update and Drive Problem

Hey,
I have a problem with my Dual Boot Slim.
I've updated it to 14717 on both NANDs while switching off the Coolrunner when turning off the Cygnos.

The CB on the Original Dash is 9230 and on my Cygnos it is 9188.

Both are booting fine.

But the problem is on the original NAND my Drive doesn't play any disks anymore. I have absolutely NO idea how this comes. In addition to this I can't do the 14719 Update on my Original Dash so I can get back on Live.
It always says "Update Failed: Can't Process the update.http://forums.xbox.com/thread/519944.aspx" I'm quite sure these two problems are closely related together. I hope someone can help me fixing these.

Have you tried clearing cache, rebooting with sync on console depressed until boot? I read that somewhere, so we would need confirmation on that as the solution to your problem.

Tried both of them. Both didn't helped.

Same problem here. Don't know about the drive but the original nand refuses to update. Tried usb and cd updates bothe give errors and refuse the update.

Have you tried building a retail image with multibuilder? I tried using jrunner and the image wouldn't load even with the correct ldv

A 14719 one? No. But I know it won't load.
Because the ones builded with ALL these programs have a 9188 CB and not a 9230 CB like the 14717 on my Xbox. I have no Idea why this is like this, but afaik it isn't possible to downgrade the CB...

Yes that's exactly the same as me although the rgh has updated fine to 14719 now.

Bizarely I got the original to go to 14719 and then accidentally flashed a 14717 image over it. After that impossible to return to 14719.

Saw a thread earlier where a stock xbox had the same problem with update and a similar error code. I was hoping the new 14719 tools may fix it but looks like we need more help.

Can't test it right now cause my box isn't here but multibuilder just built me an image with cb 9230. It looks better than any other image I've built. Reckon it might boot.

Just tested it and another win for multibuilder!!!!

Build your image with multibuilder it gives the correct cb and boots instantly as it should!!!

Rogero is my main goto image man!!

Wait, multi builder supports CBA_9230 when building 14714? Which multi builder version? Cuz I need to rebuild my 14717 with the correct CBs and LDV, I've been up and down this forum trying for a 14717 donor with matching values as mine. Would either of you help me with a clean donor 14717?

multibuilder 0.82 the latest release. Don't have a donor handy but if you can't find one by monday when I'm back home ask again.
