15' LCD Anyone?

I'm building a projection TV with an overhead projector, an old 15 inch LCD monitor, and a composite/VGA adaptor. I have all but the LCD, and I'm looking for used and cheap but with a good LCD (Backlight can be dead). Looking to spend 50-75, OR LESS!!!

If you're a do it yourselfer, this project kicks ass, check it out http://www.tomshardware.com/howto/20041113 I've only spent 100 so far and the guy in the guide spent 300.

damn thats pretty cool, you can try ebay, there is an ebay store called buyessex that deals in broken stuff and good working stuff.

I used to use a "light panel" like that a long time ago (early 90's). It was commercial, and I wish I could remember who made it - they stilL make LCD projectors, but the brand escapes me. So, idea not new, but doing it your self is definately cool. 8)
The version we had did 640x480 (maybe 800x600) at pretty ordinary colour depth. These are definately a step up.
