BENQ 15574 dash update

My friend has a phat 360 with a benq drive and LT+ 3.0 installed. I know you supposed to flash back to stock then update dash and flash back to 3.0 but he does not have the equipment to do this as he brought the 360 pre flashed.

If he updates to dash 15574 will this flash his drive back to stock.

What dashboard is he currently on?

Not sure but its about 4 months ago and its a kinect dash.

TBH just update it - worst that can happen is you have to use your originals before it's reflashed.

if you have 3.0 on there, it won't get flashed by an update
