LITEON DG-16D4S - SLIM 16D4S 1.1 replacement pcb

Last November or so i flashed my slim using the replacement pcb 1.1, occasionally i would get no game icon and wouldn't play a game.
This was fixed by just rebooting the console then everything worked as normal.

Recently i decided to tune the laser thinking that was the problem and made a slight adjustment but its still exactly the same.

I followed the tutorial on installing the pcb and the 0225 drive was locked.
Its not so much a problem but more of a pain needing to reboot.

Has anybody come across this before and maybe give me a few pointers to sort it.

Have you tried replacing the laser

No, it was working perfectly fine before the pcb swap and works perfectly fine after a reboot that's why its strange.

it happens to me sometimes i would like to know too what could be the cause because it worked perfectly fine with the original board and tx pcb do this.

its all about reflectivity

originals are like mirrors and weak lasers perform well

recordable media are dark purple and weak lasers struggle.

lasers are cheap and easy to replace, ive replaced tons and it always fixes the issue.
