You want to check for continuity/shorts. Pad to pad, point to point, between Xbox motherboard and QSB upgrade. You want continuity between your selected jumpers, and series traces. Make sure you don't have any accidental bridges that are difficult to see.

tried reflashing the original nand but either get stuck while the green liens comes out to get the xbox360 boot screen or i get error e79, should i remove the coolrunner competently and the wiring but can i leave the qsbs on and the r1r1 rest should i bridge it and the other 2 unbridged it for retail to boot?

Don't bridge or unbridge anything. After you write the NAND, you must disconnect the power brick from the console for 30-60 seconds before reconnecting and booting up. Also, make sure your microSD PCB switch is set to X360, or remove the ribbon cable from the NAND RW QSB. You must also desolder the 3.3v wire (red) from the Coolrunner (and possibly cpu_rst from the motherboard).

The bit of that you need to do is set the switch to x360 and put the cool runner switch to program. The other stuff is unnecessary

Yes, erase the NAND, rewrite the NAND, disconnect power from console. If it still doesn't boot, write the NAND 5 times in a row then disconnect power.

Yes, make sure you don't have any bridging going on with the QSB upgrade. You can leave the post fix adapter. Make sure to check cpu_rst point (blue wire) on Xbox motherboard for solder bridge.
