Did you create the ECC from your retail NAND dump?

What happens when you power on with the controller? If you have wired and wireless controllers, try them both, and check your RF module connection.

yea i tried with controller boots fine into freestyle , the only thing wacky is the xell boot
Is this console intended for your personal use? If so, leave it and use normally. You can revisit this issue later if any problems come up.

I'm under the impression that the power button itself is the problem. Look carefully, test for continuity. Have someone press the button repeatedly while you probe the switch points (with the RF module disconnected from the Xbox).

Nevermind. Pressing power turns the Xbox on, but no boot. Disregard the switch test.

Officially out of ideas here. If anybody reading this thread has had this problem (power button on console=black screen, DVD eject= boot FSD), your input would be greatly appreciated.

I suggest that you start from square one. Start by disabling the Coolrunner (switch to PRG or disconnect 3.3v). Then, check that your NAND wiring is all good (use a bright light and magnifying glass if you have to). Load up your first retail dump in J-runner and flash to the console. Disconnect power, reconnect power & try to boot retail with power button.
