Just tested it out. Gives an error when decoding/working on CB_B.

Good thing I held out on updated mine and a friends console till I got my coolrunner in today. Am getting my cpu key from My slim, his slim, and my phat and setting up my slim for live until the demon releases. At that point I'll have all my QSB installed and should be a easy set up.

Yea, learned my lesson, I updated to perfectly exploitable Halo Reach Slims :facepalm:

Probably a stupid question, but...

I just picked up a glitchable slim, but found out it has been updated to 14717 already. So...my options are to just wait right? I suppose I could dump the nand (I assume this is still possible right?), but the ecc image wont do anything for me until it's released for 14717, correct?

Yes just wait as correct patch files will be released soon.

I hope you're right, cause this line scares me...

"tip: if you have a glitchable slim dont update and rgh first - get your cpu key. That's your #1 goal and will be the only way to get your CPU Key for the foreseeable future."

Slims will be easier to fix with this new 14717 update as Slim RGH was built on dual-stage NAND to begin with. The major issue with 14717 is in Phats where single-stage nands were updated to dual-stage. However, as Xecuter said, TX has been working on dual-stage nands for Phats prior to the update.

The fix has been confirmed by a number of team members and we are waiting for feedback from some European testers too and will get the files packed up for release asap.

Will have more news this weekend. J-Runner is getting ready for release so info / files will come with that

Please forgive me my audacity but I have a customer's Slim running DB 14717 waiting to be RGH'd and if this will take a bit longer than expected I would send it back to him untouched for now.

The newly formed RGH Development Team at Xecuter HQ are proud to announce that all Phat consoles have now been defeated and are totally glitch-able without having a previous NAND dump or CPU KEY (the same applies to Slim Trinity that have been updated to 14717/14719) !

Well not really cause ones you have your cpu key you can just build the images.. its when you don't have your cpu key thats the problem.

Yup, generating the ECC is the issue.
