Heres the info on the 2 units I have:

Pre-modded?? Not sure what it had done.
Dashboard: 2.0.13146.0 K: 2.0.13146.0 BK: 2.0.1888.0
Dvd: Hitachi GDR-3120L Rom Ver: 0047DJ / X800475-009 E-H023-05-1094(B) December 2005
Im pretty sure it’s a Xenon motherboard, (12V / 16.5A) by the power plug on back?
This one will play the burnt games that came with it, but anything I burn it will not play.

I would like to know if I can Jtag 1st one, and what the best place to learn that. Do I need to flash the drive as well as jtag it?
The 2nd one, Is it to new to jtag? Is the only thing I can do is flash the drive? All I really want to do on that one, is play back ups. Thank you for any info

From what I can see there, you could only modify the DVD-ROM drives.

I have seen very few Xenon consoles with Lite-On drives, do either of the units have HDMI?

Neither one has an HDMI port.

I think #2 has been redone by microsoft. It had a newer sticker on the front when I took off the faceplate.

See if it is an opus Mobo, if it is, then you can RGH it.

Neither can be JTAG'd and I thought you need an HDMI port for RGH?

If all you want to do is play your backups then just flash both drives.

Correct, consoles without a HDMI port cannot be glitched.

Incorrect, OPUS Consoles, THAT DONT HAVE HDMI, can be glitched. I don't want misunderstandings..

You are correct, I should re-phrase and say consoles with ANA scaler chips cannot be glitched (the HDMI and Opus models have HANA scaler chips).

Easiest way to put it, Xenon & Corona Cant Be RGH.

It look like the opus board looks like it dont have the little square in the middle part of the power connector. The 2 units that I have both have that little square in there. Would it still be an opus with that?

No HANA, No RGH (for now at least).

So I take it with the 2 drives I have the only thing I can do is just flash them. Thank you for the help!! Now if I may ask this as well. I need the Xecuter CK3 Probe 3 for the Lite On unit, and nothing for the Hitachi drive? Is that the only thing I need to buy to get these flashed? Thank you again

Get an x360USBPro if you don't already have one.

With the x360USBPro not only will you be supporting the scene you will have flawless victory when it comes to flashing your drives. As long as you follow a good guide once it gets delivered you're good to go, no questions asked.....well hopefully. :cool2:

If you want the full kahuna, get a CK3 mini, Probe 3 and X360USBPro.

Check the motherboard.

If it's got an ANA chip (this has pins soldered to the motherboard, very easy to notice), then it's a Xenon.

If it's got a HANA chip (no pins coming off it), then it's an Opus and you can RGH it.
