2.3beta and 2.5beta cannot load

Switch is on Firmware 5.1 and confirmed working with SX OS 2.0.1 using 64GB and 128GB micro SD card. All games confirmed working loading 7-13 games at a time on the 64GB card.

I ordered 2 new 128GB Micro SD cards...Verbatim. I copy all needed files including the boot.dat 2.0.1 SX OS to each card after formatting each to exFat via the switch, (even though they were already on exFat). I insert each card without any game files. Everything worked. So I pull each card and began adding game files I have already checked to be working in the Switch via a 64GB and 128GB Micro SD card. Everything boots, and the first 5 games are visibly present.....however the next 17 are all blank pics and cannot load games (says cannot find game, please insert the game card). Both 128GB cards do the same. 64GB shows and plays all 13 loaded game files. So I figure I would change to the 2.3beta I had already downloaded from TX site and already checked via md5checker. However, after copying and replacing the 2.0.1 boot.dat with the 2.3beta boot.dat I get the missing boot.dat? screen. I also tried using the 2.5beta boot.dat SX OS only to receive the same message...... boot.dat? screen. Did I do something wrong? Is anyone else having this issue?

I have not had this issue personally, but I have seen other posts on here with people who have the same issue after swapping SD cards.

If your format a 128gb SD with windows and then just copy the contents of your working 64gb to it, does it do the same thing?

I read you have copy each file to the SD card 1 at a time to avoid corruption. Are you copying the files 1 at a time or multiple files at one?

Yes. It still does the same thing. and I added games one at a time.
But I believe I figured out the issue. Seems Walmart sold me 2 fake SD cards via a 3rd party. It was a hacked 32GB (27.4GB actual PC space). So the Switch was only picking up what was actually available. After that it was just fake space so the Switch could not read it.

HOWEVER..... my 64GB card is real. All games loaded on their show and work. But I still cannot get 2.3beta and 2.5Beta to work. I have tried everything from formatting the card with the switch to using actual SD formatter from SDcard.org. I then replace SX OS 2.0.1 with 2.3beta (no go), and then 2.5beta (no go). So I tried placing only 2.3beta then 2.5beta on the root (no go on both). I still get the missing boot.dat? screen. But I can place boot.dat 2.0.1 SX OS back on the card and all works. Guess I won't be able to upgrade my SX OS and enjoy the full capabilities of my SX Pro.....specifically the ability to use high storage external USB hard drives.
