2.4 beta error

Hi guys. This is my very first time using SXOS. My console was in 6.2 when I got it. I have both the license and the new 2.4 beta boot in the in SD card (that was properly updated by the console). I am able to get into the SXOS main screen and I have disabled AutoRCM. Once I choose CFW it reboots, (as it should right?), and I get this error once I hit the album icon. Not sure if I am doing something wrong or if it is not working for me. Sharing it since it might be useful for the team... Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Hi guys. I have downloaded the 2.4 beta from the official web, and the console should not be patched (XAJ7003X). I am able to get into the SXOS (so I guess that it is not patched again), but it is getting me that error once I get into the album icon. Did it with/without dongle, new boot file...and still the same.

using FAT32 more stable than exFAT. I using exFAT before and see that message frequently. but FAT32 cannot play xci games (big files)

I noticed something odd with this v2.4 beta. A couple of things i'm facing so far are the following:

- when booting up my nintendo switch and entering the sx os menu, it would 'sometimes' just load up the splash screen and automatically enter in CFW even when I don't have auto RCM enabled. (holding down the power + the + would sometimes enter in CFW automatically)

[I also encountered a blue screen after i did manage to get into the sx menu and went into CFW mode, but a simple reboot fixed that matter, however it was my first time ever encountering this so i can't say that it was specifically related to sx os 2.4]

- installing .NSP files sometimes don't even work for some of the following games and no they are not bad dumps, it's just something I believe that sx os v2.4 needs to fix. (they do work on tinfoil, however... so i guess that will be the alternative for now? :s, again this is only on some of the .NSP files, they worked perfectly fine before the v2.4 beta)

note: i am running on OFW 6.2, so before you tell me that why don't you just stick to the older sx os version, well.. i cant :p (other than other CFW atmosphere, reinx, etc. i still prefer sx os)

edit: i'm reading on other forums that people are encountering this issue too, however i did notice that someone was able to install fine on firmware 6.1 with the sx os 2.4 beta, so i guess this is still an firmware 6.2 with sx os 2.4 installing issue? :(

edit #2: nvm i some also said they are on firmware 6.1 and couldn't install the .NSP on sx os 2.4, the one above from the edit must have referred to a different .NSP from the one i am and some of the others are testing on. (issues with sx os v2.4 beta installing .NSP games :( )

Same problem here also when trying to install some newer nsp files, however these same ones I can install with tinfoil.

I have seen this behavior on my switch a couple of times also after updating to 2.4 Beta

I've noticed that on every version. If you press power + volume up and release both keys as soon as the blue light appears on sx pro(not green), it goes directly to custom firmware.

On a side note, i've tried to select the payload option without any payload on sd card and the switch froze. Don't know if it happens also with a payload. Haven't tried.

hi,

pls help. My son used to this day SX OS 2.3 (6.01). When he saw that new version of the SX OS came out, he updated Switch to 6.2 via internet. From this moment when I want to use my SX Pro dongle with SX OS 2.4 I see black screen. I have two files on the card: boot.dat (ver. 2.4) and license.dat) What is wrong?

TBh i can't remember the color of the light, just never seen this behavior before 2.4 Beta, but will be watching the color of it the next couple of days when booting the device

For what it's worth. I have always seen a green light on mine. I have not updated to 2.4 yet thought, but will keep an eye on the light

First boot today, dongle was lighting green, after the splash screen it booted direct to cfw and not to the menu

i dont think it has anything to do with the blue light, nor if it is on green either. the problem still persists sometimes and i've noticed it only on 2.4 so far based from all the previous versions i've been using it up until now :/

update: i noticed another issue with this 2.4 beta. although it's a minor issue there is a constant joycon and handheld mode icon of the controllers consistently popping up (not sure if it's because i have theme mode on), but if you are too also using theme mode you may noticed this issue.

here's what i have for my switch that is causing this issue i have 2 sets of joy cons it's docked, and the first set is with attached onto the switch and i am using another set free hand mode (as in, as if it i was playing the switch in table top mode... meh im so bad at explaining this but hopefully you get the idea (using it as joycons lols >.>''' while docked essentially). i don't know if this also occurs if you have your set of joycons on the switch and you're using a pro controller, as i don't have a pro controller so i wouldn't know for certain. but yeah this is another issue that i see that wasn't there on the previous versions of sx os.

edit: being a bit more specific, the pop ups icons (on the lower left corner; remember i am using theme so idk if this is happening on non theme [will test later to see]) are only seen while on menu screen of game selections etc. not while in game.

I'm also facing issues with the installer. At first I thought that it was 2.4 related, but I reverted to 2.2.1 and I still face the same issue. The game is Carcassonne with title id 0100C9200A9C2000, md5sum: 4a3f6eec3bb50711a9a282aaf81cf9a8.
Blank thumbnail shows in installer tab, trying to install fails with ERROR: Could not read NSP. Moved from /sxos/nsp to /tinfoil/nsp, installed correctly with tinfoil and the game is playable.
