2.6, 1.4 Xbox - What are the acceptable / best BIOSes to use?

I've got a 2.6 Xecuter in a ver 1.4 Xbox. What are the acceptable best BIOSes to use with this combination?

I've just put Evox M8 1.6 in a 1.6 Xbox. Is there a particular version of M8 for the 1.4 Xbox?
