I have installed with pcb rebuild. Everything appears like it should. I tried 3.0.1 and couldn't get the flash to work. Switched to 3.0.3 and flashed m8. It boots, I get the EVOX logo in the upper right, then it goes to the MS dash. I can't get it to recognize non MS disks. The EVOX logo during boot leads me to believe the bios flashed, but it just isn't working....aaaaarrrrg.
P.S. I've done almost a dozen 2.3/3.0 and never seen this problem. HELP!

I'd suggest flashing your chip with the X2 bios instead of m8.
Evox bios is old and not designed specifcally for the Xecuter chips. You are bound to have more trouble with it.

What are you expecting it to do? Did you install a dashboard? Are your trying to boot off of a CD/DVD to install a dashboard? If so, how did you burn it?

try a dofferent type of disk, if the evox logo is in the top left corner then the bios is working correctly.
