2.6 - >3 xbox live question (x3 noob)

I just upgraded from the 2.6 to the 3 and my 2.6 had a switch where I could turn off the chip. This seems like the best method because I heard people getting kicked off Live if they used a software on/off.

It looks like the 3 (havent received it yet) doesnt have the same on/off switch. Do I need to worry? Can I just add a switch to do/ground if needed?

How does the 3 protect me from getting banned on Live?

also, can I still use slayers autoinstall with the new chip?

Yes it has a switch. I think if you long press the power button it automatically boots like a normal Xbox, a simple press boots with the chip, and a combo of Power/Eject boots into the 256k backup of the chip.

Yea, and don't use slayers. The FlashBIOS is so simple to use. Just flash via HTTP.

Tes You Can Use Slayers Autoinstaller For Your Avalaunch Dash And Evox Dash. To Upgrade Your Hd. But You Will Have To Flash With Evoxm8 Bios(you Probably Know This.) Thats Fine You Have Plenty Of Bios Space Just Bank The Bios In A 256k Bank By Using Your Chip. You Can Flash The 1959 Bios Made For Your Chip In A 1024k Bankby Using The Switcheson The Dipswitch.read The Tourtioal On The Front Switch In The X3 Noob Guide.

Hold power button Long = Normal XBOX Boot/Chip Disable
Hold power button Short = Chip Enable
