2.6 bios trouble on a 1.6 xbox

I've had my 2.6 installed for a bit now, everything working fine. I want to upgrade my hard drive, which is 200 gigs. So I need to change some bios settings and re-flash the bios. I got everything ready on my comp to flash the bios again, then I switched to bank 1 on my chip and tried to load my FlashBios 3.0.1, but it just loads up the regular EvoX dash. I've tried quite a few things to get this to load my FlashBios screen, with no luck. Can anyone help me?

You may need to program it externaly by getting a programmer if your flash bios screen doesnt come up

If your Xbox boots to EvoX, then get hold of FlashX 1.2 for the Xbox. It's an app you can load from your dash that will flash your bios. If so, there's no need for FlashBIOS.
