2.6 ce solderless + programmer problems

First off i have xbox v.1 and last night my xecuter 2.6 ce lite came along with an xapt3r and a programmer.
i installed it fine no problems and finally flashed a bad evox bios to my chip.
it just did absalutely nothing, so i took the chip out and hooked up the programmer and it worked fine i flashed 2 bios's on, one for each bank, but once again downloading from the p2p program emule i got 2 more bad bios's so i took the chip out for a final time and flashed the newest flashbios from the team xecuter website and put it in my xbox and now i get the turn on>turnoff>turn on>turn off>turn on then red>green>red>green>etc. i turned off the chip and it works fine. so i tried taking it out and using the programmer but ixia and x2bm will not read it, all the lights are on on the chip and programmer including the blue loading light that blinks fast.
ive been working on it all night and day and nothing has worked, ive been looking for forums and everythign and nothign seems to fit my description...any help???

reflash your chip with the newest x2 bios but dont use the v1.6plus version. this is probably why your xbox is fragging.use the version that says; X2_5035_vOld_512K.bin this should fix your problem.

i cant flash it though becuase my pc will no longer recognize it when i hook it up with the programmer. it has worked before so i knwo its not my pc, it just stopped working all of a sudden. i dont have another chip so i cant swap it....

im still at a lost of what to do???

could i maybe have fried it in some way?
what would the signs of it being fried be?

is the bios switch on chip while on programer

yes it is, and ive tried every combination of the switches and still no recognize

i havent found a single problem like this on any forum yet so im thinkin i might have to order a new chip if nobody can help

so if u can thikn of anything id appreciate it greatly

try cleaning the paralell port on your computer and make sure the chip is fitted correctly on the pins. you could also tryusind a paralell port cable which might work better.

but, when ixia opens it reads the programmer but not the chip, and all the lights turn on on the programmer but ill try what you said and get back, thanks

i tried and nothing, still cant read it, well now the blue light flashes really quick and when i put the chip in every few seconds on top of the quick blinking the blue light will flash bright, but still no reading.

And just for the hell of it i hooked the programmer up to my windows 95 laptop and the blue light is solid so i hooked my chip to it and when i open ixia or x2bm the light goes out to a dull blinking and still doesnt read it.....
