What Should I Do?
Ok, so I purchased an Xbox 360 Falcon Elite off of eBay that was refurbished by microsoft for $190. One day, I was playing No Russian in MW2 so my dad got really angry at me (we are Russian) and took away the controller. During school, my dad must have accidentally turned on the console on and when I came home I got the 2 red light error. I turned it off, let it sit for a few hours, and turned it back on, getting the E74. I successfully replaces the X-clamps with screws and washers and used AS5. After a few weeks, I got the E73 which was an error with the ICS chip. Unfortunately, after accidentally connecting 2 contacts on the Motherboard, I got the RRoD and there was a red light on the power supply. The secondary error code was 0002 which means that there is a problem with the power supply.
Now, This is my situation:
I have an Xbox 360 with a E73 error motherboard and a broken PSU. I have $65 bucks to spend and cant go over $100. What should I do. I was thinking of buying an RRoD console (unopened) from eBay for $50 bucks and fix the motherboard. I will then replace the fixed motherboard with the E73 motherboard that I have and replace the PSU. Now (hopefully) I have a fixed console. What do you guys think?
