2.6CE + 1.6 = Blank Screen

I am using a 2.6CE in a 1.6. Everything is installed per this tut:

Here is the deal:

Power on w/chip disabled = boots to microsoft dash

Power on w/chip enabled = blue light on chip illuminates, external switch lights up, xbox light indicator flashes green/amber/green(fast) then green 5-7 times...all with a blank screen. Also, the LAN indicator will flash when a packet of data is sent to it. This happenes when trying to boot to either bank.

I have resoldered every single point and am at wits end. Could this be a bad chip or bios? PLEASE HELP!! Thanks in advance

you are useing a x2.6 or is it a x3 if so have you flash it with a bios
try power eject at same time
or try setting switch to
"256k Bank
Bank 1: on on on on
Bank 2: off on on on
Bank 3: on off on on
Bank 4: off off on on
Bank 5: on on off on
Bank 6: off on off on
Bank 7: on off off on
Bank 8: off off off on

try and find flashbios screen

Well....after a few hours of troubleshooting I finally fixed the problem. It turns out that the chip/bios was installed correctly. The problem was the video cable. I am using the Monster Component + Optical cable. Turns out the default Cromwell bios loaded doesnt support anything except for the original factory cables.
