2.6ce bios wont boot why?

ok im usung the xapter 1.6 adapter for my chip i connected the pins correctly and all the leds light up. for some reason i reciently reflashed my chip and had a sucessful flash but when my xbox boots up it shows the bios name for example: xceuter config live loading, boot up and then go to the ms dash. im not sure what im doing wrong. do i need new verisons of bios perhaps? please give me some suggestions

what do you want it to do
if you have not installed a dash then it will boot to ms dash

If you moved from a pre config live BIOS the dash location used to be configured in the BIOS itself. The new X2 config live BIOS allows you to define the dash location in a file on your hard drive. No need to reflash to change your boot dash, thus the "config live" name. You'll need a boot disc to gain access to your hard drive so you can put a properly configured x2config.ini file on either your E or F drive. This file should have been included in the archive with the BIOS.

alright then should i just use a slayer disk and put the configureation file on the e or f drive. does it matter which one i put it under.

if your going to use slayer use the updated version 2.7 or better yet use the Auto installer deluxe 3.10 it can install and uninstall everthing and can be updated with pc software and is a far better install
install dash to E:/

ok guys thanks for the help i probabally go get ver 2.7 of slayer then and use that.
