2.6ce chip connection not good

I purchased the 2.6ce and sodered the wires in with an xbox version 1.0
the chip frags three times, so i hold the chip and give the wire plug a little twist while holding it there, i turn on the xbox and it works fine.
When i try again this time letting go of the wire plug and chip it frags again.

I ordered another chip thinking the 9 pin recepticle was loose or bad.
new chip came in and same thing. I have to hold the wire plug in the chip and apply a constant twist to boot up the chip..

the question is, did i get two bad chips where the 9 pin reciever is bad, or is there a better way?

i even tried soldering in the 9 pin on the board but even then you have to hold and twist the chip on the pins to get it to work.

Just to make things clear on above post. I wanted to add that the chip is flashed.
and everything works fine including booting to the evox dashboard as long as i hold the chip and plug a certian way when powering on.

Maybe the loose connection is on the LPC header that's why when your holding the chip it somehow making a good connection, try re-soldering the LPC...

Are you sure the problem is with LPC harness and not with the switch wires? Make sure it is completely plugged in.
