2.6CE install on a v1.4 or v1.5

I have a 2.6CE to install on either a V1.4 or V1.5 xbox in the morning, I have modded other xboxes mainly V1.1 & V1.2 but neither of the mentioned 2. Is the installation the same except for the D0 point and is a extra 5v wire used for the V1.4 or V1.5 or does that only apply to the V1.6. Also I correct in thinking any standard bios can be used apart from the bioses meant for the V1.6 & V1.6b

The install is exactly the same with the exception of the D0 location. The alt 5v wires it NOT used. Use 5035 vOld for that Xbox. Here is a great install tutorial

cheers m8, thats what I thought but I wanted to check first as it ain't my xbox i'm modding. Also I'm gonna use either the 5035 bios or the M8 bios which is better, as i plan to install evox as the default dash. I currently use the M8 bios on my box without problem is the proven method in my own experience best? or should I use the 5035 bios with the slayer auto installer disk V2.6 which I used on my install. My plan is to use either bios on bank 1 and flashbios on bank 2, i'll use x2bm to merge the bioses into a 1 meg file, is this correct? as its always worked in the past

There is no need for a 1 meg bios. 5035 is a much better, feature filled and stable bios than M8. Plus, it is 512k, so you don't have to resize. Just flash it. That will leave you with flashbios 3.03 on bank 2. Then use Slayer's to install a dash. I personally prefer Avalaunch but it is up to you.
