Hi All,
This is my first ever modchip install and all's not going as well as I hoped!
I soldered the LPC and LPC rebuild adaptor, 5V cable, LAN/HDD/D0 cable and installed the chip and am now having the following problem.
ModChip Turned Off: XBox boots normally into flubber screen
ModChip Turned On: Modchip light turns blue, xbox green eject light comes on for about a second and then off, this then repeats and goes off again before on the third time I get a FRAG eject button.
If I don't connect the video cable, I get a flasing green/orange if that helps (didn't connect it fully when I was testing once!)
AIUI, D0 must be connected right for the modchip on/off switch to work correctly. I've traced as many of the LPC pins back to vias and done a continuity test as I can find and they are all connected.
Any suggestions to save me tearing my hair out! Would I be better off pulling the LPC rebuild board thingy off and manually joining some wires to the points to short them to the LPC pins?
Any suggestions as to which pins I should be looking at?
Thanks All,
Adam
