2.6CE Lite Problems [Need to get chip Flashed]

Here is my situation. I ordered a 2.6CE Lite from themodchip.com and received it with the old green programmer with 9volt Battery attachment/usb/dc plub. [Says Lite Programmer] on the bottom. Of course, it is not the one pictured, so I ordered another standalone programmer [the one they picture is the white one shown in all of the tutorials that seems to work].

Anywho, I received ANOTHER green one, so now I have two green programmers that won't detect my chip. It only detects it as 0x0900 when all settings are correct. I have a pretty vast knowledge of what im doing, and have tried ANY and EVERY configuration show in ANY AND EVERY post on four different website forum groups about how to get it to work. I have come to the conclusion that since NEITHER of them work, I am SOL.

To sum it up, I am just going to buy another chip unless somebody thinks they can flash my 2.6CE Lite for me. I will pay all shipping and postage fees. Taxes hit the bank tommorow most likely so I am thinking about just buying another one.

Also, can I hotswap one X2.6CE Lite with an X2.6CE Lite [or perhaps an X3]

why did you need to flash chip if you installed it it should have flashbios on it banks so you can flash chip or have you flashover it

I flashed over both banks with a 256k bios. Can anyone flash it for me? I will pay shipping and maybe a 6pack

The install of the X3 and the 2.6 are the same, so yes you can hot swap them. I'm a little confused though, how did you flash both banks with a 256k bios? Using Flashbios that's impossible since flashbios always flashes the first 512k to bank 1, and the second 512k to bank 2. It doesn't matter which bank you booted from or which bank you had selected. Where are you located in the US?

I used to 256k bios instead of a 512k bios, and flashbios doesn't disallow use of the 256k bios. It was a hasty mistake.

If you used a 256k bios there is absolutely no way you flashed both banks. I am in Minnesota if you want to send me your chip, but I would check both banks before doing so.
