Make sure you follow my instructions above about how to burn the ISO to disc. "Burn an image from one already on your harddrive" with recordnow. Or if using nero6, follow the tutorial on the top right of teamxecuter.com for how to burn ISO discs.

I put in the the new HD and keep getting error code 13 I looked it up unspecifed error kernel. What do i DO?????????

Did you test your boot disk before swapping HDDs? If your boot disk isn't booting, then you won't be able install a new HDD yet.

Yeah boot disc is not booting with retail HD in the XBOX either. I have tried burning severval times now, no luck. I have followed instructions on how to make a boot disc. I am using Memorex CDRW 4x 700mb 80mins. Would it be easier if I just had someone burn a DVD boot disc for me??

Make sure that u put the disc in ur xbox, then turn ur xbox off, then turn it on with the disc still inside.

There we go!! Used a Dvd-R and it worked as soon as i put it in!! Formatted new HD and have evox and avalaunch as dashboards. But the thing is exov wont give me the IP addy of my box so I can FTP!! I know its hooked up correctly to my PC through my router b/c i use neXBC to play Halo online. What do I do???????

Disregard my last post....I have read some stuff and am able 2 FTP NOW!! ONe more question though..i cant seem to find a answer any were. I have some games downloaded. For example GTA san... There are like 15 rar files which all look the same when I unrar and they are all the same size and all are iso files when unrared. In addition to those 15 rar files there is a .sfv file. Now what do I do with them. what is .sfv? I tired ftping one of the iso files to my box but it didnt read it as a game the iso file is abt 2.86 gigs......what do I have to do in order to play this game off my HD???

1. Buy the original.
2. Use DVD2Xbox to copy to your HDD.

Yeah don't download games. If you buy the original you won't have any problems and you know that all the files are there.
