2.6CE v1.0 Fragin cannot figure out why

I installed the 2.6CE just as the instructions said to. When i turned it on it frags. Even with the chip removed it still frags. I dont see any splash anywhere. Should look for a new board? If so can i use a different verison board with my 1.0 box and it will work? And do i need the old hardrive with the different verison for it to work. Any advice would be helpfull thanks.

Don't give up so soon. You may have lifted a pad or burned a trace. Check the LPC area real closely. Also make sure you didn't break the D0 trace.

Where is the LPC and what should i do if i did burn a trace?
