2.6ce with solderless adapter new problem

i finnaly got the chip light to come on but now when i turn my xbox on it restarts twice but then stays on after that, is this normal. this is without the hdd and dvd rom installed.

it's never gonna power up correctly with the dvd and hdd not attatched. So I guess the problem could be related to that.

I assume you got your chip enabled and is expecting the flashbios to load up to indicate that your chip is installed correctly?

So when you turn you box on, what happens?
It turns on/off 2 times you say..sure its not 3?
Is there anything on the tv display?
Is there a light on the power button on your xbox and is there any light in your chip or switches?

You have a problem with the install somehwere. Check your soldering again. What happens with the chip off?

hi my xbox turns off twice then stays on the third time, the big cd button keeps flashing red/green, i tryed to open it but it got stuck half way lol, nothing on the tv whatsoever. and i didnt solder nothing because i use the solderless adapter.

You have to check the solderless adapter to see if there is somewhere the connection isn't good. Make sure you press it all the way down.

If you are getting a frag with the chip off it is not good. That means you have a problem with your Xbox. What version Xbox do you have? If the LPC holes were filled, you should really clean that area with a stiff eraser or a q-tip with a little bit of nail polish remover. That will help the solderless adaptor make good contact.
