2.6ce XBL?

i have another problem here. I have a 2.6ce/xapt3r 1.6 and i cant seem to get on to xbox live. I have not changed my hard drive (managed to fit halo 2 on it) and i HAVE beed on xbl before i installed modchip. The thing is i cant start my xbox without the mod chip on. the power blinks on 2 times then starts with red and green. when i try to connect from ms dash (i need to modchip enabled to get there) i disable before i connect and it freezes. Could someone tell how to fix it (or any recommendations?)

the modchip works yes/no
you get m/s dash yes/no
did you flash chip with bios yes/no
are you running a modded dash yes/no

the modchip works
i can get to ms dash
the chip is flashed with bios
has modded dash
when ever i try to connect to XBL [while disabling mod before trying] 1) in-game - it goes back to game menu
2) ms dash - it freezes when trying to connect
when i try to turn on xbox with mod chip disabled already it frags

this were you got me you say ms dash freezes
then you say it fags if you boot to ms dash
the only thing i can think of is ms bios is corrupt

thats probably it because when i backed up my hard drive i was confused about renaming it for the dashboard and i lost the file. i thought i found it again but maybe something happened to it. thx for the help

ok now i know what your on about get slayer evox installer do a rebuild of harddrive this will put evox plus new ms dash so you will have working xbox
